Hey you. Long time no chat.

Had a great mother's day weekend. I did end up getting home to sequim to see my mommy, and mad props to katina, for sending her boy to get me, and to tyler, for coming to get me. Yay brownies.

Had strawberry shortcake. Was late for the ferry, then the ferry was late, resulting in much lateness. Then on the way back, the other ferry was late too. It made me sad at the ferry system. They usually don't suck quite that much.

I'm kind of sick of the internet. There are just too many other things I could be doing with my time. Like sleeping. So if you've been missing me, you're probably one of those people who rarely talks to me except on the onlines. If so, I'm sorry. I'm sure I'll get over it fairly soon.

I have über amounts of work to get done this week... if you see me online and not working, tell me to quit being a slacker, please.

Bleh. I'm tired. I went to bed a tiny bit too late last night, and kept waking up every half our from 5 am onward... then of course fell asleep at 7 after turning off my alarm and didn't wake up until 8 and had to call work and tell them I'd be late.

Guh.

I think sharon may have figured out how to make my airport card work with teh linux. This would mean I wouldn't have to plug in the usb majigger that benson loaned me, and things would Just Work (tm).

I actually read a chapter of a textbook today. Like the whole thing. 20 pages, or something. It's the first time I've opened a textbook this year and read through in a studying type manner, and not a quick find-what-I-need-to-know type manner. It was even helpful! Now I sort of know what I need to do for the program that's due thursday. Yay for me.

So much tired lately. Also back hurty.

I really love my computer. It needs a new name though, because it's no longer male. It's finicky and touchy and sometimes kind of pissy, so it really just needs a female name now. I have thought much on the matter, but have yet to come up with a name that properly fits her. I will keep thinking on it.

I've let my blogging and blog-checking slack off lately. People have moved around and updated feeds and junk, and I need to fix my google/ig, but I haven't yet. So if you feel ignored... don't. I'm just a slacker.

I need to walk home, but it's cold outside, and have no music because I left my ipod at home, so I'm stalling.

Brian has his blog up (linky to the right... it will be moved fairly shortly, but I'll update the link so it'll be all good) and this is all sorts of exciting.

I've been pessimistic, moody, passive aggressive, and unfriendly lately. Or at the very least, I have felt like being that way, but have been too polite to actually act that way. In short, I'm acting like a girl. It's annoying and stupid. I've also been very lazy lately, but seeing as that's more of a constant problem, I don't find it quite as objectionable.

Glugh. Now I shall brave the cold.
